Sandra is a community organizer. She has worked on various issues in Northern NM, but has never gotten into health issues. She has health insurance through her job and always has. She had no idea how many people are uninsured in NM and was outraged by the numbers and statistics. Right away she made the connection between access to health care and productivity, particularly when talking about farmers and ranchers. She is interested in trying to make connections to different farmer/rancher workshops across the state, to get the farmers and ranchers the information they need about how health reform impacts their communities.
