JOB ANNOUNCEMENT 

Outreach and Enrollment Manager $28-30/hr., Full Time (40hrs/week)

Health Action is seeking a dynamic, experienced outreach specialist to manage a team for a
multi-year outreach and enrollment project in New Mexico. This position can be in-person,
hybrid-remote, or fully remote with some office days mandatory and occasional in-state travel.
As a member of the Health Action New Mexico, the Outreach and Enrollment Manager will
oversee outreach and enrollment activities in three regions of New Mexico (Southern, Central,
and Northern) to recruit, enroll, and conduct follow-ups for persons to receive healthcare
insurance.

The Outreach and Enrollment Manager’s key responsibilities will be to:
● Supervise three Regional Coordinators daily to plan, schedule, carry out, and assess
outreach and enrollment activities
● Orient staff on best practices and assure the importance of providing that safe place
status is maintained in all educational and enrollment activities of the program and
build teamwork among staff and volunteers.
● Guide Regional Coordinators build partnerships with key local trusted messenger
organizations to co-host and promote outreach and enrollment activities.
● Along with other members of the Executive Team, help develop bilingual outreach and
enrollment materials that will be reviewed by the OSI for use in the program.
Periodically, provide content for the HANM website.
● Will be responsible for documenting and submitting monthly reports on outreach and
enrollment activities and partnership-building with trusted messenger organizations.
Qualifications:
● BA or other educational preparations along with appropriate documented professional
experience.
● Preferred: bilingual skills to speak, read, write English and Spanish.
● Experience in working with community groups, faith-based entities, organizations
serving immigrant families.
● Experience in working with healthcare programs, especially those that serve rural
communities and bilingual communities.
● Needs to have dependable transportation (mileage reimbursement for any work travel),
availability for overnight travel within the state and some weekend work.
● Computer literate to do reports, communications, and research.
● Must have personal cell phone and data plan.
